Concepting + creating moodboards is one of my favorite things to do. Truly. If I could just have a job doing that sign me up! I can't always share the moodboards that I do for clients, so I wanted to start sharing some that I'm creating for myself. I've started to create collections of my own personal prints and patterns, and along the way I'll show you my inspirations, as well as some finished pieces.
This collection is inspired by the beginnings of summer. That time when it's not really spring anymore, but not quite full blown summer either. We're not ready to throw on our bold, juicy colors reserved for the heat of June and July, but we're more than happy to pull out something light and airy as the temperature rises.
We're delighted by the arrival of peony, lilac and lavender flowers. And we sip and eat joyfully those first few treats from the garden: strawberries and rhubarb.
I love the fresh, romantic feeling. What do you think?
