Pattern Party: Free Bastille Day inspired picnic party download

VerySarie_BastilleDay_Sandwiches

Hey, why does the party have to stop once the fourth is over? I know you still have sparklers and snaps that you're dying to use up (and maybe a couple of other explosives with a little more pow), but, you know, you don't want to be THAT neighbor. Well, I have good news for you: Bastille Day is right around the corner, and that sounds like an excellent excuse to keep the party going!

I've created a collection of free Bastille Day inspired printables for you, because let's face it- the american stores don't exactly have aisles overflowing with them. Or, you know, any. (What's up stores? Don't you like to party like the French? Hmmmm?!) As you can see Rita does. She wanted to get in on some of that cheese.

The downloadable PDF has three different french inspired badges that can be cut out and adhered to anything your little heart desires. I picked up these cardboard loaf pans at Target and used them to hold potato chips. (Can't seem to find them online, but they are in store.) And the paper coaster are baking doilies with the badges glued on top. (I got mine at Michael's.)

Also included in the download are strips of pattern that can be cut to wrap around things like bottles and sandwiches. Depending on how big your object is, you may need to glue or tape two strips together to wrap all the way around. And the graphics can be enlarged or reduced when you print depending on how you would like to use them for your party.

The best part though, is that it doesn't have to be Bastille Day to throw your French inspired picnic! (Although that is fun excuse.) Use this for sophisticated baby or bridal showers. Or maybe just an afternoon of sipping wine and nibbling cheese with girlfriends. I mean, really, don't we all need more excuses for wine and cheese? (And afternoons with girlfriends?) I think so.
