While we were in San Diego last month we had some pretty great food, but the standout by far was dinner at Searsucker. I almost forgot to post about it until I saw that Oh Joy had visited recently as well.
Couple of the standouts on the small plate menu were the spicy shrimp and bacon grits (Ahhh-mazing) and the mushroom burrata- a suggestion from the server that was one of our favorites.
The pork butt with brandied apples was really nice as well. (unfortunately was getting a bit too dark to get a photo of that.)
I also had to try a drink, because the cocktail menu looked so fun! And yes, I know it's a pricey drink, but trust, it was soooo worth it. Super, super dangerously yummy.
