Next- I had to post these two phrases because they are words I always seem to need reminding of. Most people wouldn't know this about me, but I am the ultimate procrastinator. I swear I can even find ways to procrastinate on procrastination. I'd like to say it's because I need the pressure of the deadline, but that's bull crap. Well, the pressure helps I suppose, but I don't think that's the real reason. The real reason is fear. Fear of the unknown. Of change. Of failing. Of making a fool of myself. Of being uncomfortable. Of making the wrong decision. And on, and on....
I'm not really a new year's resolution type of person- I feel any day is a good day to start a new, better habit. But it being the beginning of the year and all, I think it's fitting to have a theme for the 2013 instead of a resolution:
Don't be afraid to do it today.
Simple. But likely to get me moving. I might need to do my own lettering to hang above my desk as a reminder...
