Macrame. It's not just for hippies anymore. And it's certainly having it's moment in the spotlight. I confess, I'm a bit obsessed with all things macrame and weaving lately. (I even bought myself a loom.) So how to incorporate a little bit of this boho vibe into your home? Scroll down for some ideas.
HANGING CLOSET CURTAIN
I love the idea of taking the utilitarian idea of hanging a curtain to disguise closet messes, but giving it a hip & textural update

Doilies get a bad rap. But giant doily macrame rugs like this up their cool factor.

AS CORD CAMO
Ok- As someone always trying to hide cords, I am IN LOVE with this idea. Turning an eyesore into a statement piece... my heart flutters.
I love this idea so much, I've been planning to do something similar in my own bedroom makeover.

AS WINDOW DRESSING
Soften up window dressings with a full macrame panel (like the image at the top of this post), or just create a pretty accent like above.

AS ROOM DIVIDERS
The open, airy nature of these pieces is perfect for defining space without making the room feel closed in. That 3 sided kitchen booth...stunning.

We've all seen the mireade of hanging planters out there, but this is some next level sh*t. Seriously- the scale and shape of these planters + having them on either side of the bed is so dramatic.

Speaking of hanging planters... As much as I love a 70's boho vibe (and I do) there's something to be said about reimagining a trend. The matte black pots, mixed with the bright colors in shades of green and blue + hanging the plants all together is such a fresh approach and makes a delightful statement.
