I realize I'm a little late to the party, but I recently discovered Poshmark, and I fell head over heels. Madly. Deeply. Truly. Yeah, yeah, being able to make a buck on things you no longer wear is great- but what hooked me was being able to flex my fashion muscles again; Coordinating outfits, shooting and styling items for listings... all the old feels started rushing back in.
When I worked a 9-5 job, style was a HUGE part of my everyday. I placed a high value on looking good (and consequently, feeling good.) Being comfortable and confident in my clothes is hugely empowering, and from a young age I had distinct opinions about my style- much to my mother's chagrin.
Working at home (alone, most days) my fashion savvy has gone down several notches in my day to day dressing. What started out as innocently posting clothes for sale on Poshmark however, was just the boost I needed to get back on track to remembering how fun and creatively fulfilling fashion is for me. So, if you'll please indulge me, I'll be popping in from time to time with some outfits to share. (And yes, several of the things I'm wearing in this post can be purchased in my Poshmark closet right now.)
