I don't usually promote courses on my site, but this one is too good not to. Bari Ackerman is an amazingly talented artist and surface designer, and this year she just happens to be releasing her 10th (!) line of fabric. And beyond that, I've had the incredible opportunity to get to know her better on a personal level this past year, and they just don't come smarter or sweeter folks.
I'm a wiz in illustrator, but lately I've been wanted to add more of my hand drawn and hand painted elements into my patterns, and it's become clear to me that the best way to do it is in Photoshop. Now, there are a ton of illustrator pattern classes out there, but the market is sorely lacking in the photoshop pattern class department. (I know, I've looked.) That's why Bari's class with Jeanne Oliver is not one to pass up. I could go on and on about why integrating photoshop into your pattern designing arsenal is important, but I think Bari can do a better job in the trailer below.
Class starts June 1st, so don't delay, get on over there an check it out for yourself today!
